In addition to the main plenary hall, the centre offers five flexible seminar or committee rooms with state-of-the-art conference systems. The foyers, too, are a multifunctional design and can be used as reception areas, for coffee breaks and catering, or for parallel exhibitions. The various halls at the Alpbach Congress Centre have been named after famous people who have made a special contribution to the success of the Alpbach European Forum. The centre itself bears the name of the Austrian poet Paula von Preradovic, who wrote the words for the Austrian national anthem and also dedicated the "Alpbach Elegy" to the resort..
